“Alexey Pichugin, having entered into a criminal conspiracy with Leonid Nevzlin, organized the murder of Valentina Korneyeva, and also organized the attempted murder of Yevgeny Rybin”. The website Prigovor.ru reminds its readers of what happened on April 14, 2995.

Before that, on March 30, 2005, Pichigin had already received 20 years of imprisonment for the first three episodes from the whole series of murders and attempted murders, committed by bandits by order of Alexey Pichugin and his boss Leonid Nevzlin. That is why the lawyers of Alexey Pichugin were unusually unvocal, writing everything off to the non-disclosure agreement. The lawyer Kseniya Kostormina admitted that, in fact, new charges had been filed against her client, but she refused to discussed them with the press. The lawyer Mikhail Zhidkov acted similarly – he confirmed the fact of the filing of the new charges, but refused to mention corresponding Articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. "Pichugin has been charged with new charges on three episodes," said lawyer Georgy Kaganer, without any details.
