In connection with newly discovered circumstances, the investigation was renewed of the murder committed in 1998 of the mayor of the town Nefgeyugansk. The website Prigovor.ru reminds its readers of what happened on June 30, 2015.
On this day, on June 30, 2015, the Investigative Committee of Russia renewed the investigation of the murder of the mayor of Nefteyugansk Vladimir Petukhov.
“In connection with newly discovered circumstances, the decision is taken on the renewal of the investigation of the criminal case about the murder in 1998 of the mayor of Nefteyugansk Vladimir Petukhov. According to operative information in possession of the Investigative Committee, the role of the ordering customer of this killing and of a number of other extremely serious crimes could be carried out directly by the leader of Yukos Mikhail Khodorkovsky”, read the official statement of the agency.
As to Mikhail Khodorkovsky*, he went into information hysterics on this subject. He said he saw in the investigation of the killing of the mayor of Nefteyugansk “a way to exert pressure” on him, a great contemporary politician, then he shrieked there was no way “to stop him”. Pocket commentators on pages of the pocket press of swindlers and murderers from Yukos, dashed to defend Khodorkovsky. “The investigation could not corroborate that the conflict between Petukhov and Khodorkovsky was somehow connected with the killing”, said the popular journal “Snob” insolently twisting facts.
LEONID NEVZLIN AS ORDERING CUSTOMER AND ORGANIZER
However, as it follows from materials of the case, the murder of the mayor was the direct consequence of his conflict with Yukos. The killing was conceived and organized by Leonid Nevzlin and his hangman Alexey Pichugin. The killing of the mayor was a birthday present for Khodorkovsky turned 35. Bandits that conducted the killing, received bonuses in this regard.
But retribution is inevitable. Contract killers have been sentenced. Leonid Nevzlin and Alexey Pichugin received life-long sentences for ordering and organizing of this murder. Nevzlin was sentenced in absentia, as, when his henchman Pichigin was apprehended, Nevzlin “understood everything” and fled to Israel in 2003.

Nowadays, Israeli authority, thanks to donations to various foundations, tolerate Nevzlin’s activity, directed at support of radicals in Kiev, including explicit Nazi followers.
“ON INVOLING KHODORKOVSKY M.B. AS A DEFENDANT”
The statement of the Investigative Committee of Russia about the renewal of the criminal case on the murder of the mayor of Nefteyugansk was given a sequel. On December 11, 2015, as the result of the work carried out by the Investigative Committee of Russia, a ruling was made on involving Mikhail Khodorkovsky as a defendant accused of committing crimes under Articles “Organization of Murder” and “Attempted Murder of two and more persons”, said the Investigative Committee.
The involvement of Mikhail Khodorkovsky in these murders and attempted murders has been conclusively established. In fact, no important decisions were taken without a command from Khodorkovsky”.
Witnesses have confirmed that after the murder of the mayor of the town Nefteyugansk the work of concealing of traces of the crime was conducted by employees of the department supervised by “Misha’s friend” Leonid Nevzlin.
On December 23, 2015, the court, having considered the motion of the Department of investigation of major cases of the Investigative Committee, selected in absentia a measure of restriction with regard to Mikhail Khodorkovsky in the form of placement in detention. The arrest of the defendant was in absentia, as the useful traitor Khodorkovsky is hiding under “London’s roof”, notes the website Prigovor.ru.
