Curators of «Good Russians»: John Lough, Thomas Firestone, Alexander Vindman

Curators of «Good Russians»: John Lough, Thomas Firestone, Alexander Vindman

Attached officers and agents of American special services are being planted in management of all anti-Russian foundations and non-governmental organizations.

The American CIA is set to recruit spies among Russians who are dissatisfied with the war in Ukraine. Such public statement was made by the deputy director of the American spy agency David Marlowe. Speaking on the panel of the analytical Center of the George Mason University, the representative of the CIA pinpointed that the Agency had been trying to recruit military officials, oligarchs, heads of various enterprises and organizations. “We are open for business”, said the American spy. Apart from that, he stressed with animation that the Russian operation on the Ukrainian territory opens new horizons for Western secret services,

RECRUITING MARKETING FOR TRAITORS

However, there is nothing new in such actions of Western intelligence services. Special services of the United States and Britain not for the first time are demonstrating their recruiting initiatives with regard to enrolment of “Russian speaking persons”. For instance, in April 2017, the British secret intelligence service was publishing announcements in which it called upon “Russian speaking persons to rally to the defense of the (British) state”. And, in summer 2018, the similar story was launched by the American CIA.

Here is the tweet of the CIA from 01.06.2018 which reads: “It’s all about what you know! Do you know Russian? Are you a citizen of the United States with a college degree? Do you have an interest in serving you country? Please visit the website http://cia.gov/careers in order to know details and receive new career possibilities!”

Apart from periodical “advertising” initiatives, special, defense and law enforcement agencies of NATO countries, on assignment from above, have been boosting their officers into managing positions of various foundations and non-governmental organizations, created by the fugitive Russian opposition.

BRITAIN’S “BUG” OF KHODORKOVSKY

Mikhail Khodorkovsky* was the first to engage a decoy duck. So, in 2019, Mikhail Khodorkovsky’s Future Russia Foundation, based in Britain, hired John Lough, an expert of the Royal Institute of International Relations Chatham House and a former NATO’s representative in Moscow. John Bruce Lough is a participant of the project of the British secret services called Integrity Initiative. As we remember, the activity of Integrity Initiative consisted in interfering in internal affairs of European countries and waging information war against Russia.

In the lists of the project, Mr. Lough is neighboring upon William Browder (tax swindler known as British agent “Solomon”) and Vladimir Ashurkov, close associate of the extremist Alexey Navalny. Let us remind you that the latter, on his own initiative, traded with himself, proposing his services to British spies who worked under diplomatic cover.

Nowadays, the financial fraud Khodorkovsky, entrenched in London, trying to make an impression that he is “free and independent”, has been working on orders of his patrons, has been financing British spies and pathological Russophobes. And it’s far from Khodorkovsky’s own merit that he is still not charged under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “High Treason” pertaining to “assistance rendered to a foreign State… in hostile activities to the external security of the Russian Federation”, or under fresh Article 271.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (cooperation on confidential bases with a foreign State, international or foreign organization), although there are awash of indications of illegal activity.

AMERICAN LAWYER “NON GRATA”

Another cunning “bug” was exposed in the United States, in “Free Russia Foundation”** created in 2014 in Washington by a group of Russian fugitives. In 2019, the Foundation was acknowledged in Russia as an undesirable organization.

So, in the structure of Free Russia Foundation, as a member of the board, was detected an interesting lawyer by the name Tom (Thomas) Firestone. It’s worth noting that the same gentleman is a member of the above mentioned Foundation USFR** through which money are being provided for Free Russia Foundation. For instance, in 2020, USRF gave $45 000 to Free Russia Foundation, as “public support”.

The Foundation USRF itself, providing generously money for American Russophobes’ nest, has been known in Russia for a long time, and it is famous by the fact that it has become a pioneer, sui generis, in the case pertaining to cleaning Russia of insolent American Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO). Russia’s Justice Ministry, on instances of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Russia, included the Foundation USRF in the list of undesirable organizations as early as December 7, 2015, and the entry in Russia for some representatives of this organization was prohibited, as previously reported, at least until 2025.

There are enough reasons for such a turn in the destiny of the American-Russian Foundation, including brazen interference in domestic affairs of the Russian Federation with the internal correspondence of employees of the Foundation with officers in Washington being a clear indication of.

CHASED OUT TOGETHER WITH A BRAZEN CIA’S AGENT

Apart from that, two years before, in May 2013, thanks to the activities of Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB), the mentioned above Tom Firestone was declared persona non grata. Then, Russian counterintelligence service FSB did not dwell on the motives of the entry ban for the American. Yet, all circumstances pointed out that declaring Tom Firestone persona non grata was connected with reports that the Russian Counterintelligence Service FSB had provided information with regard to the apprehension on May 14, 2013, of an officer of the American CIA Rayan Cristopher Fogle. We would like to remind our readers that he was caught red-handed, wearing a wig and trying to recruit an employee of one of Russia’s special agency. In connection with the expulsion from Russia of the CIA’s agent, Michael McFaul, the ambassador of the United States at that time and clinical Russophobe, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

THEY ARE IN CONTACT WITH THE INTELLIGENCE BUREAU OF THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT

Well, when in 2017 hackers posted on the Internet the archive of e-mails belonging to Robert Otto, head of the Russian direction of the Bureau of Intelligence and research of the State Department, among contacts of the American intelligence officer, turned out to be two Russian names connected today with the Free Russia Foundation, Vladimir Milov (number 178 on the list) who, in September 2022, was designated to the department of public diplomacy attached to the Foundation. And, in effect, Thomas Firestone (number 61) who even in the United States itself is regarded as an agent of special services working under cover of legal firms. As of today, the mentioned person watches out how Sergey Alexashenko, a fugitive economist, allots money of the State Department dedicated to counter Russia.

WORN OUT PENTAGON’S “BOOT” HAS COME IN HANDY FOR KASPAROV

There is, however, also a reversed effect, when spent material from Americans military and Law enforcement agencies transmit for care of patented Russophobes. Thus, after wild internal intrigues of the time of Trump’s impeachment, under tutelage of Garry Kasparov, was sent the might-have-been defense minister of Ukraine Alexander Vindman. The mentioned person, a lieutenant colonel of the American army in retirement, was director on Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Russia in the Security Council of the White House. Before that, he had served as a specialist on military-political questions in Russia under head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as well as an attaché of the American Embassy in Moscow. Under the influence of the CIA in the impeachment case of the acting president of the United States, Vindman, had taken side of political enemies of his boss.

In his evidence to the Congress, Vindman said that American Administration and Trump had demanded from the Ukrainian side to carry out an awful thing – to investigate the dubious activity of Hunter Biden, sun of the former vice-president of the United States Josef Biden. And that, actually, had frightened the U.S. Democratic Party. Yet, the investigation had been subverted, and the procedure of the impeachment looked more like a cheap theater production.

In February 2020, the hapless American colonel was ingloriously fired from the White House with the earmark of defector.

The former American colonel emerged in September 2022 in the company of the guiding leader of the Foundation Free Russia Garry Kasparov*. Nowadays, they all together work on “promotion of global democracy”, and, of course, on Ukrainian direction.

It’s clear that this is by far not the whole “assigned stuff” of the leaders of foundations and NGOs, created by Russian collaborationists. Khodorkovsky, Kasparov and other Milovs have not been disturbed for a long time by such a cooperation. Syndrome of traitors – they are being used but asking for more.
