The website Prigovor.ru has found out that ‘spiritual mentors’ of Mikhail Khodorkovsky in his younger years were best known for their Nazi attitudes and unconventional sexual orientation. These priests and their like compose the ‘sixth column’ that is being knocked together by Western security services for the elimination of the Russia Orthodox Church.
Several days before the Orthodox Christmas of 2024 the archpriest Alexey Uminsky, the rector of the Moscow’s Life Giving Trinity Church at Khokhly, was, as they say, prohibited and then put to a church trail. This priest was rather popular among Moscow liberal believers, he moderated Orthodox programs, was actively dealing with social and political journalism, and it was he who had to read a funeral service over the first and last president of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachov.
Alexey Uminsky paid by his priesthood for his refusal to read during church services the ‘prayer for Holy Russia’. All priests of the Moscow Patriarchy were given blessing to read this prayer during liturgies after the start of the Special Military Operation in Ukraine. In November 2023, while giving an interview to one of foreign agents, this future defrocked priest proposed to find those priests who ‘pray more for peace than for victory’. The Bishop of Skopin and Shatsk Pitirim (Tvorogov) called Uminsky’s words ‘one of the metastases of the awful disease liberalism, which has penetrated into our Church and will ruin our Motherland’.
‘Pacifism in different epochs of the Church History was present in various heretical doctrines – among Gnostics, Paulicians, Bogomils, Cathars, Tolstoyans and was disclosing, like other utopian ideologies, connections with ancient chiliasm’ – with these words reacted the Religious Court of the Russian Orthodox Church to the refusal of the priest to support soldiers of the Special Military Operation and stressed that ‘during the whole history the Church has given its blessing to soldiers defending the country’.

A NEO-NAZI AND A PEDERAST – SPIRITUAL MENTORS OF KHODORKOVSKY
Literally on the next day, the foreign agent and serial organizer of murders Leonid Nevzlin* reacted to this Church decision, and he, in particular, stressed that ‘Uminsky served a litia service for Boris Nemtsov and was spiritual mentor of my friend Mikhail Khodorkovsky’.
Khodorkovsky himself (in the Russian Federation he has been recognized as an extremist and foreign agent) walked down memory lane: ‘Two priests, during my 10 years and two months in camps, visited me in order to honestly discharge their duty. One of them was at once deprived of the right to serve, and he had known that it would be that way. He said: ‘My life was changed by Sergey Adamovich Kovalyov, and I have come to you to repay to him’. 15 years later, his church title was returned to him, and this is why I mention his name now.
The second was Alexiy (Alexey Uminsky). A bright and very honest man. All ensuing years I followed with a sinking heart his destiny, as I understood his whole discrepancy with regard to the essence of the modern Russian Orthodox Church. And now he is ‘suspended from giving services’.

As it turned out, in Khodorkovsky’s life, according to his own acknowledgement, there were two ‘spiritual mentors’. The name of one of them he didn’t mention, and the reason of it, according to the website FLB.ru, is that this priest – Sergey Mikhailovich Taratukhin, the rector of the Church of the Icon of the Savior Not Made by Hand in the town Krasnokamensk (Chita Region), in 1974, when he was 18 years old, was convicted of … creating a neo-Nazi organization”. This underground group of skinhead ‘Aryans’, taking into account the ethnical Transbaical specifics, attacked local Buryats.
Sergiy Taratukhin, the first ‘spiritual mentor’ of Mikhail Khodorkovsky
In the Soviet Union after Stalin there was, actually, one political Article of the Criminal Code (No 70) which envisaged punishment for ‘anti-Soviet activities’. In those years, as anti-Soviets could be labeled anti-communists of all colors: liberals, Nazis, Bandera followers, monarchists, in short, all from right and left. And they sat in the same camp in the Perm Region where Taratukhin got acquainted with the dissident Sergey Kovalyov, future first human rights ombudsman in the Russian Federation.
About his spiritual mentoring of the future oligarch Taratukhin told in 2007 in his interview with the newspaper ‘Moskovsky Komsomolets’: ‘We talked in a prayer room for convicts. The first thing he asked me about was to pray for his kids. Because they had been christened. Mikhail Borisovich (Khodorkovsky), at that moment, was only on his way to the Orthodox faith. He admitted that it had took him two years on trial and investigation in order to get to the road to God’. In 2006, Taratukhin was expelled from his title simply for ‘political activity’.
The second ‘spiritual mentor” of the unsystematic opposition was also characterized in his young years by deviant behavior, to put it more premise – by untraditional sexuality. As early as in 2013, the website FLB.ru published for the first time information that there was a registration card in the archive of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation No 1590K, dated March 1987, which says that the citizen Alexey Anatolyevich Uminsky (born 1960) was included into the category ‘Pederasts’ is being accused under the Article of sodomy of the Criminal Code of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR). And now we publish for the first time the screenshot of this card from the archive of the Ministry of the Interior.

We would like to remind our readers that criminal liability for homosexuality was included in the Soviet Criminal Code in 1934. In June 1993, Article 121 (Sodomy) was excluded from the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, and from that moment on this sexual perversion has been not regarded as crime.
In only three months after publishing of this ‘operative information’, in the Autumn of 1990, Uminsky was ordained to priesthood. Dignitaries of the Moscow Patriarchy could not be informed about the sexual orientation of the ordained, yet, honestly speaking, it’s hard to believe taking into account the all-seeing eye of the secret service KGB which existed at that time. And, certainly, Uminsky could have repented in tears his sodomy sin during confession, but still we would like to remind that, according to incontestable church rules, a man who has married twice, under no circumstances can be ordained to priesthood.
So does it mean that at the church gates the sodomite Uminsky received preferences over a man with traditional sexual orientation? Yes, sometimes old canons of the Orthodox Church are still mysterious in troublesome times.
THE WAY OF UNFROCKED PRIEST
What Uminsky is remembered for as he served in a Moscow church?
In 2010, during yet another court trial of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, he publically supported the imprisoned swindler.
In 2011, on the eve of the so-called ‘snow revolution’ on Bolotnaya square, he came out with a manifesto called ‘Non-silent Church’ and the Orthodox priesthood to counter the policy of the acting power.
Nontraditional priest Alexey Uminsky and chief editor of the newspaper ‘Novaya Gazeta’** Dmitry Muratov*
In 2013, Uminsky signed an open address demanding an early release on parole of the blasphemous members of the group ‘Pussy Riot’.
In the same year, he spoke subservient out about Mikhail Khodorkovsky who had been set free earlier: ‘Mikhail Borisovich didn’t have a single day that he had not lived other than serious life and had thought only about himself’… His way to understanding of his place in this world, his standing before God, his attitude to Jesus Christ, towards The New Testament had started before his jail term…’
In 2017, he publically supported the president of the Karelia affiliate of the organization “Memorial’ who had been accused of sexual abuses of a minor girl.
In 2019, he signed a petition in support of participants of unsanctioned actions in Moscow.
In 2020, he publically came out in support of members of an extremist community involved in the case against the organization ‘New Grandeur’.
In 2021, at the request of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, he also publically supported the former employee of the security service of Yukos Alexey Pichugin sentenced to life-long imprisonment for organizing (at the behest of Leonid Nevzlin) a series of ‘Yukos’ contract murders.
In the same years, he came out in mass-media foreign agents ‘Medusa’** and ‘Ekho Moskvy’** in support of the convicted foreign agent Alexey Navalny.
In February 2024, in Istanbul, the unfrocked priest Uminsky was ‘rechristened’ to become a priest of the Church of the Constantinople Patriarchy and moved to one of its wards on the territory of France. In 2018, the Russia Orthodox Church (RPTs) broke all ties with this Patriarchy which calls itself ‘ecumenical’, when the Istanbul Patriarch Bartolomeo issued a ‘tomas’ about creation of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine, which is a church-political project of the CIA and the Junta of Kiev.
‘Rechristened’ priest Alexey Uminsky and Patriarch Bartolomeo (Istanbul, February 2024)
It seems that Bartolomeo and Western secret services staying behind him have reserved for Uminsky one of the central roles in their yet another project – a hostile acquisition by the ‘ecumenical’ patriarchy of the whole Russian Orthodox Church or only a part of it.
The United States Agency of International Development (USAID), starting from the Autumn of 2023, sharply activated its activities in religious sphere carrying out the strategy of ‘neutralization of Russian Orthodoxy’. The Patriarch of Moscow and the Whole Russia Kirill mentioned a global order for destruction of the Russian Orthodox Church.
‘Bets are very high, and the order to break the unity of our church – it’s an order what has a global dimension. It’s not simply a struggle for jurisdiction, this is a struggle aiming at destruction of the most powerful Orthodox force in the world. When we say 150 million, this is actually so’ said the Patriarch at the meeting with participants of the festival ‘Faith and Word’.
‘A SIX COLUMN’
‘The Russian Orthodox Church must vanish’ – say even more often Western propagandists. ‘’In support of the ‘Special Military Operation’, as Moscow officially calls its intrusion in Ukraine, a considerable role is being played by the church. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church patriarch Kirill and other priests provide morale as well as ideological justification of the incursion”, writes, for instance, the Czech agency CT24.
‘In each war there must be weapons and ideas. In this war, the Kremlin provides weapons and the Russian Orthodox Church provides ideas’, told addressing the Atlantic Council** another CIA priest Kirill (Govorun), former priest of the Moscow Patriarchy, and now professor of the University of Loyola Marymount in California.
And the influential American political journal ‘Foreign Affairs’ recently published an article entitled ‘Putin’s Useful Priests’ telling that during the presidency of Vladimir Putin the Russian Orthodox Church has become an affiliate of all Russian secret services at once – FSB, SVR and GRU. In this piece, in particular, it is said that ‘in the FBI distributed a six-page notification within the Orthodox community titled ‘Russian Intelligence Services Victimize Russian Orthodox Church and other Eastern European Churches’.
This spy mania article in the journal ‘Foreign Affairs’ calls the Orthodox believers to vigilance and to come over to the omophorion of the old agent – Istanbul Patriarch Bartolomeo.
In essence, The West has started seriously to form the so-called ‘sixth column’ for the war against Russia. As distinguished from ‘the fifth’, it is being composed of religious collaborators who are focused on destruction of religious values. These are, first of all, overthrown from their priesthood former priests of the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as those who are called ‘Russophobes in cassocks’. One of these ‘underlings’ is the mentioned above Govorun, co-author of the so-called ‘Declaration on Russian World’, where he calls the Russian world a heresy. American secret services are pushing this Judah to hierarch of the schismatic Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
Near Mikhail Khodorkovsky, in recent years, was shifting around another ‘Russophobe in cassock’ – Andrey Kordochkin, as for today, the former secretary of the Hispano-Portuguese eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church. In November 2022, a collective letter of the parish of the Christ-Christmas Church in Madrid (on the whole 156 signatures) was published in which, in particular, was said that ‘the abbot openly doesn’t pray neither for Russia, its fighters, not for those killed on Ukrainian soil’. Kordochkin constantly demanded from the parish ‘to be ashamed of being Russians’, to support Ukraine, as well as Alexey Navalny and Mikhail Khodorkovsky’.
‘Reforum’, one of Khodorkovsky’s outfits. organized a meeting with the ‘right priest Andrey Kordochkin in Berlin
In October 2023, Kordochkin took part in the meeting of Khodorkovsky with his followers in Spain on which was discussed the theme of overthrowing authorities in Russia. After that meeting Kordochkin said that he was going through a certain foundation ‘Peace to All’ to finance priests in Russia taking a stand against the Special Military Operation. For that he had searched in Russia for courier-volunteers in order to use their ruble bank cards for financing ‘underlings’ in cassocks. As in case of Uminsky, Kordochkin was taken care of by the patriarch Bartolomeo.
Istanbul’s priest Vladimir Silyavko is servicing spiritually Garry Kasparov* and Alfred Koch* (Vilnius, February 2024)
Or, there is another example: a group of other non-system oppositionists who are being shepherded by the subordinated to Bartolomeo priest Vladimir Silyavko who was also expelled from the Moscow Patriarchy for his boorish Russophobia.
BELLICOSE UKRAINIAN SCHISMATICS IN MOSCOW SUBURBS
The was against the Moscow Patriarchy has been waged not only in the suburbs of Istanbul, where is located the residence of the ‘ecumenical’ patriarch, but also in offices of Western secret services. It turns out that the most vicious enemy of Russian Orthodoxy is nestled in closest Moscow suburbs, in the town Noginsk.
In the state registry of legal persons (EGRUL) this habitation of enemy is registered under the sonorous name ‘Central religious organization “Bogorogsk Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church”. The abbot of this eparchy, according to the extract, is a certain citizen Valentin Yegorovich Starina.
Extract from EGRUL of data with regard to the Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Moscow region created in the town Noginsk on November 14, 2001.
Pay attention to one important detail: this Eparchy is registered as a canonical religious organization of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UPTs) but the intendant of the Eparchy himself, Valentin Starina, long ago moved this Eparchy to the camp of schismatics from the Orthodox Church of Ukraine (PTsU), the project of Kiev’s junta. On the website of the PTsU is placed a photo of this citizen in cassock and hood with the inscription ‘Adrian (Starina), metropolitan of Bogorodsk.
Adrian (Starina), metropolitan of Bogorodsk
The biography of Starina, as of other representatives of the ‘sixth column’, is full of homosexual scandals and movements from one schismatic structure to another. He was born in the town Dnepropetrovsk, graduated from the Moscow Theological Seminary, was appointed abbot of the Holy-Trinity Church in the town Noginsk. In 1991, this small town in the Moscow Region was shocked by unbelievable rumors that the 48-year-old archimandrite had allegedly raped two underage acolytes, and one of them soon after that committed suicide.
The clergy of the Noginsk diocese formed its ruling primate that it refused to contact with Starina. Church authorities started to investigate this sexual crime aggravated by the death of the victim. An Eparchy commission was created, the pervert was dismissed from the position of abbot of the parish. Gleb Yakunin, newly released from the correctional camp where he had served his sentence for anti-Soviet activities, tried to influence the work of this commission.
Adrian Starina (left) and Gleb Yakunin (right)
But all efforts of the cynical priest and human rights advocate were in vain – Adrian Stalina was expelled from the Russian Orthodox church and he at once moved to the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad. But materials from the investigative eparchial commission reached hierarchs abroad, and already in the beginning of 1993, the church court of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad made the following decision: ‘the reason of moving of the archimandrite Adrian do not have a principal ideal character, they are not well founded, and the evidence of his grave morale crimes makes impossible his serving within the church walls’.
Without thinking long, Adrian Starina moves to the ‘Kiev Patriarchy’. Heir, in a year, he was ordained as archbishop, although people in Kiev could not not to know about the sodomite background of this ‘new Ukrainian archiereus’. As it was pointed out in the analytical memo of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR), ‘Western politicians and special services took interest in this situation, and soon Adrian Starina was engaged in a project that was due to have an enormous influence in Russian and to become an element of its breakup’. (1997)
In 1997, the law enforcement agencies expelled the former abbot from the Epiphany Church in Noginsk and gave it back to its legal owner – to the Moscow Patriarchy.
In 1998 the bishop-sodomite becomes member of one of the commissions of the Russophobe ‘Universal Congress of Ukrainians’ in Toronto. In 2005, Adrian Starina composed and sent to the Maidan president of Ukraine Viktor Yuschenko a list of the so-called ‘enemies of Ukrainian people’. For that he was awarded with Ukrainian state order “For Merit’ (III degree).
In 2014, Adrian Starina bought seven hundred square meters of land in Noginsk at the address Zharova Street 18, and under the guise of ‘a business structure’ (summer kitchen) created on this plot of land his own personal church.
A Russophobe Church of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in the town Noginsk
In 2015, the administration of the town Noginsk went to court and filed a lawsuit with a statement ‘addressed to Mr. Starina on acknowledging this building as illegal and on necessity to knock it down’. The Court fulfilled the claim, and the court collegium on civil cases of the Moscow Region Court left it unchanged.
Press-release of the Noginsk Court
In October 2016, the Court definitively acknowledged the religious building of Mr. Starina in the Moscow Region as ‘an unauthorized construction’ and obliged him to knock it down. In the meantime, its owner was promoted: in February 2019, the head of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Yepiphaniy (Dumenko) put out a ruling No 12/10 on appointment of metropolitan Adrian (Starina Valentin Yegorovich) abbot of the Bogorodsk Eparchy of the Orthodox church of Ukraine.
The Ruling on appointment of Adrian Starina abbot of the Bogorodsk Eparchy of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
Years passed by after that. The special Military Operation (SVO) solves in full swing questions relating to denazification and demilitarization of the indigenously Russian territories of Ukraine on which Ukrainian nationalists wanted to destroy all that is Russian. And in Kiev, as well as in Western Ukraine, priests of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine accompanied by armed neo-Nazis are expelling with force parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchy), they are crippling and killing priests who are faithful to their duty. Only bailiffs of the Moscow Region seem to forget about the existence of the ‘Eparchy’ of the Orthodox church of Ukraine which, in spite of the court decision, quite safely exists in about 50 kilometers from the Kremlin. According to the extract from the United State Registry of Immovables (EGRN), ‘the court arrest’ on the building of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine ‘has not been found’. Until now, the authorities have not even seized the property of this ‘Russophobe in cassock’.
